MCP Integrations

Last updated: 9 October 2026

Connect your AI assistant to the Alexiuz network with Model Context Protocol (MCP). MCP lets compatible assistants discover tools and call services directly from a conversation. Generor is the first MCP integration in the network, with generation billed to your Alexiuz credit balance.

1. Generor — Generation MCP

What it does. Discover generators and models, estimate costs, generate content, check your credits, and retrieve your creations through one MCP connection. Generor supports text, images, video, music, speech, and more.

2. Connect your assistant

Choose a client that supports remote MCP servers with a custom Authorization header. Enter the MCP URL and your Generor API key. Keep the trailing slash in the URL.

For clients using the mcpServers configuration format, the connection looks like this:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "generor": {
      "url": "https://generor.com/mcp/",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_GENEROR_API_KEY"
      }
    }
  }
}

Replace the placeholder with your own key and keep the configuration private. Exact setup fields depend on your client. Hosted access currently uses API keys; browser OAuth sign-in is not available yet.

You can also run the PHP MCP server locally over STDIO. See the Generor MCP documentation for installation and local client configuration.

4. Try it

Once connected, ask your assistant:

Find a Generor generator for a watercolor cat illustration, show me the available models, and estimate the cost before generating.

Review the estimate, then ask the assistant to generate. Cost estimates are advisory; they do not set a spending cap.

5. Credits, rate limits, and long generations

The MCP connection uses the same account permissions and rate limits as the Generor API. Hosted requests validate your key on every request. Tool calls use two API requests: one to validate the key and one for the operation. Discovery and connection requests use one.

Generation is synchronous and can take up to 16 minutes. Configure your client timeout accordingly. If a request times out, check your creations before retrying: generation may still complete and spend credits. Each generation call creates new output.

6. The network

Generor is the first MCP service in the Alexiuz network. This page will list additional network MCP integrations as they become available.

For direct REST integrations across the network, see Developer APIs.
